Indonesian Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (IJAIR) is a fully open-access journal. All articles published in IJAIR are freely accessible to the public immediately upon publication. There are no subscription fees, registration requirements, or paywalls.

This policy reflects our commitment to promoting broad dissemination of knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Open Access Principles

IJAIR adheres to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which defines open access as:

"The free availability of scholarly literature on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers."

All articles in IJAIR are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Under this license:

Article Processing Charges (APC)

At present, IJAIR does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, review, or publication. All accepted articles are published free of charge, ensuring equal opportunity for authors regardless of institutional or geographic background.

Archiving and Accessibility

To ensure long-term digital preservation, IJAIR utilizes the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) and institutional repository systems. All articles are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure permanent accessibility and citation.
