Peer Review Proccess

The Journal of Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood Education (JELITA) applies a peer-review process to ensure the academic quality, relevance, originality, and integrity of manuscripts submitted for publication. Each manuscript is evaluated through an editorial assessment and peer review before a final publication decision is made.

1. Manuscript Submission

3. Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening are assigned to appropriate peer reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area of the manuscript.

Reviewers are selected based on their academic background, research expertise, and ability to provide an objective and constructive assessment.

4. Peer Review

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on relevant academic considerations, including:

6. Editorial Decision

After considering the reviewers' recommendations and the overall quality of the manuscript, the editor makes an editorial decision regarding the manuscript.

The decision may include:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

The final decision is made by the editorial team based on the manuscript's academic quality, relevance, originality, and suitability for publication.

7. Final Review and Publication

Manuscripts that have been accepted for publication may undergo final editorial checking and preparation before publication. The editorial team ensures that the article is appropriately prepared for its final publication in JELITA.

All manuscripts and information obtained during the review process should be treated confidentially. Reviewers and editors are expected to maintain professional conduct, avoid conflicts of interest, and uphold academic integrity throughout the publication process.
