Withdrawal of Manuscript

Journal of Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood Education (JELITA) recognizes that authors may need to withdraw a submitted manuscript under certain circumstances. However, manuscript withdrawal should be conducted responsibly and communicated formally to the editorial team.

Withdrawal Policy

1. Authors may request the withdrawal of a manuscript by submitting a formal request to the editorial team.

2. The withdrawal request should include the manuscript title, author names, and a clear reason for the withdrawal.

3. Authors should not withdraw a manuscript simply because of disagreement with reviewer comments or editorial decisions.

4. A manuscript that has been accepted for publication should not be withdrawn without a valid reason and prior communication with the editorial team.

5. Authors must not submit the same manuscript to another journal while the manuscript is still under consideration by JELITA.

6. If a manuscript is found to have been submitted or published elsewhere during the editorial process, the journal may take appropriate action in accordance with its publication ethics policy.

7. Any withdrawal request will be reviewed by the editorial team before the withdrawal is formally approved.

8. Once a manuscript has been formally withdrawn, the editorial team will update its status in the journal's submission system as appropriate.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are expected to carefully consider their decision before submitting a manuscript to JELITA. Withdrawal requests should be made only when necessary and should be communicated honestly and professionally.

JELITA encourages authors to maintain responsible communication with the editorial team throughout the submission, review, revision, and publication process.

The journal reserves the right to take appropriate editorial action in cases involving unethical withdrawal, duplicate submission, or other forms of publication misconduct.
